Macaron :

100 gr   Egg whites

130 gr   Almond powder

130 gr   Powder sugar

90 gr    Sugar

¼ tsp   Cream of tartar

 

Method :

  1. Sift almond powder and powder sugar.
  2. Whisk egg whites, sugar, and cream of tartar until stiff peak.
  3. Mix all together the meringue and sifted almond powder mixture, fold in with spatula until ribbon stage.
  4. Pipe in to macaron’s shape @9cm diameter.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for approx. 20 minutes.

 

Chocolate Mud Cake :

¾ cup   Water

2 cups   Sugar

2 tbsp   Coffee

284 gr   Butter

250 gr   Dark chocolate

2 cups   Flour

½ cup   Cocoa powder

½ tsp   Baking soda

2 tsp    Baking powder

1 tsp    salt

4 pcs    Eggs

½ cup   Full cream milk

2 tbsp   Vegetable oil

 

Method :

  1. Melted together water, sugar, coffee, butter, and dark chocolate.
  2. Sift all the dry ingredients and add to the dark chocolate mixture, fold in.
  3. Add in the wet ingredients: eggs, full cream milk, and vegetable oil.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for 45 minutes.

 

Buttercream :

250 gr   Butter

150 gr   Powder sugar

2 tbsp   Full cream milk 

Filling :

2 pcs    MEG Cheddar Slice

200 gr   Strawberry Jelly/Strawberry Jam

Method :

  1. For Buttercream: beat all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  2. In each of macaron’s shell, put a slice of the chocolate mud cake and fill it with the buttercream. Add a slice of MEG Cheddar Slice and strawberry jelly or strawberry jam.
